Quinplex® is a unique polymer developed by (LE) for its lubricants, particularly food-grade greases. It provides five key benefits: tackiness, water resistance, cohesion, mechanical stability, and corrosion resistance. Originally researched in Europe, Quinplex’s precise molecular properties caught LE’s interest, leading to its adoption in LE.

How Quinplex Works

Quinplex® is a unique thick liquid with a high molecular weight, selected by (LE) for its consistent physical properties due to its narrow-range molecular weight distribution.

Incorporated into lubricants through advanced manufacturing techniques, Quinplex enhances the bond between the base oil and thickener in grease formulations. This improves the mechanical stability of the grease, allowing it to maintain its desired consistency over extended use.

Quinplex works in harmony with other chemical components in lubricants, increasing the viscosity index of oils and greases. This ensures stability across temperature fluctuations. Its tackiness allows lubricants to adhere better to metal surfaces, offering superior water resistance.
